Biography

I was born and raised in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1976. Adopted at the age of just 3 months old, I learned at an early age that truly what makes a parent is not the act of concieving the child, but raising the child with unconditional Love, unwavering support and a steady hand to lead the child into independence.
Because of the home my parents created for me as a child, I grew to be a woman of great strength and courage, as well as a woman with an unfaltering determination to capture and translate raw emotion into words that make a difference, not just a statement of myself or of others.
I have been writing now for 20 very fullfilling years and without the Love of my family, I would have never have found such courage to expose my heart, mind and soul as I have done for so many years. They allowed me to free myself of what others believe is the "correct" manner in which to express emotion. For that great gift, I am forever gratefull.
Over the last10 years, I have endured great challenges, some bringing me to my knees, begging a higher power for just one day of Mercy, however, those very challenges assisted in the creation of many beautiful, life altering changes. With these, I have enabled myself to bare naked, some of the most painful expereinces known to women, and families across the globe.

For the last 2 years, I have dedicated my heart to the project I like to refer to as "My Book". "My Book", is exactly what it says. Nothing more, nothing less. It is not geared towards anything imparticular, though it centers on certain issues at times, but I had always thought it strange that authors of "books" would create an idea in their minds of what would "sell" the most (O.K. so I wouldnt complain if my own compilation made me some extra dough. I'm human too), however, I thought to myself what a grand idea to simply put myself out there, with life lessons, human emotion, pain, anger, joy, beauty and love, mix it all up and be able to accept that my life and all it consists of is out there for the world to read, follow and attach themselves to in some form.

So, I am taking my time with "My Book", and am still working on the idea of leaving that as the title...I'm struggling with that portion of the project more than anything. I am open to suggestions!!!!!

As for more about me, lets see....

I am one of the few and fortunate to have been blessed with true, pure and beautiful love. I am engaged to be married, though we have not yet set a date. When the time is aligned we will know, and together we will make the journey for life.

We share a home with 3 dogs, Keiser (the eldest), Keysha (the princess) and Pancake (the whacky one).
We do not have children, nor can we create a family in the terms of "tradition", and thusfar, though it has been a challenge to accept that fate, we have moved through it and we are seeking to adopt a beautiful Baby Girl or Boy...or both!!!

We live in Maine, so of course we love to fish, camp and do basically anything that keeps us from being cooped up in the house. We could honestly do without all the snow of course!!! Even for just one year!!! I'll happily take ONE lonely little year of no snow in a New York Minute!!!!

We're down to earth, love movies and have been known to have a complete conversation with one another by only quoting our favorite lines from random movies....which drives people insane at times...but it keeps us amused!!!!

I suppose the more you want to know, the more you'll have to read..afterall, isnt that why we are all here on this site???

Happy reading to all, and never reconsider the words you write...they are a part of your very soul, write without regret....

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
