I am 48 years old as of Oct. 2009. I wrote my first poem at the age of 16 in Yosemite National park, which I was hitchhiking through. It was 9000 words, 10 pages of single type, and was called Witch of Salem.
I have trouble writing short poems. 2000 words is small for me.
I specialize in Story Poems. These are complete adventures either rendered entirely in prose, or half poetry and half narration.
The last two years of my life has been spent fighting for my marriage.
I was married two years ago to a beautiful woman in Vietnam. Until the age of 46, I had been unmarried, because I could not find the right woman.
That just goes to show you that you can find love at any age, so if you are single and lonely, don't let it get you down, there is still hope.
Our problem however is the American Embassy. We passed the criteria of all the other agencies, but they are fighting me tooth and nail.
I have dedicated my life to getting my wife here to America.
So I am not writing or posting as much as I normally would due to the vast amount of time this war is taking.
Despite this, I still have hope.
I am just sad for all the lost time, I have missed with my Darling Cat Ky.
I dedicate all my works to her.
