Biography

I'm from a little town called Ivanhoe, Virginia. Have traveled around some but am home to stay. Except maybe for a adventure now and then. I am a poet and songwriter, i play guitar, classical and steel and harmonica. I do mostly my own stuff. I refuse to grow old or up, which has made me ageless. I like to watch spongebob and star trek. (the old ones) i read as much as i have time. i don't like politics. sex belongs in the bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom, hall, basement..but not in politics. i like a large variety of movies. you can buy one of my cd's for 10 bucks. i have 2 of them: bad man's gone and days of destiny. that includes shipping. i can e-mail you a sample song if you like. i like outdoors and indoors. i fish sometimes and don't hunt, but i would if i was hungry. i believe in doctors and medicine. I believe in GOD. i like riding my motorcycle and my bicycle. i live in a 200 year old house i feel like i helped build. on quiet nights with candle lite i feel i can hear the past. i have made many mistakes in life and made many not mistakes, i guess im human. (durn it). my uncle and friend handbuilds celtic harps and lap harps. Mary Travers (peter paul and mary) has one of his harps, she enjoys it. They are good people. i believe in ufo's and santa claus. easter bunny and the tooth fairey. and magic in general. i don't stick my head in the sand . i have pissed in the wind, once. im a clean person and my house is clean but not spotless. different things inspires me to write. and i think this poetry thing is a good idea. peace and happiness, garden of eden? somewhere i think its their. i would like to build and time machine and a submarine and a tough river boat. river boat first, and then time for a adventure. the black and white picture is of my grandmother, Glady E. Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
