Pride

Mr. Pride,
Look at the fear between,-Within- yours eyes when you ask for a piece of pie,
Why, you feel you should be offered a piece of pie?
You lie!
Why not ask,or try,Mr. Pride?

Mr.Pride, what if you were about to die,and the person that you once humiliated could save your life,
Would you lie,-deny the facts presented filled with truth and descent honesty,- or apologize- humble yourself-?
If you lied,you'd die,
Are you willing to die Mr. Pride, or are you willingly going to apologize?
This guy can save your life Mr. Pride, if you apologize,

Do you know what Mr. Pride? You're not so holy,
You're not at all, what we have in mind as high,
You only portray the evil thoughts that were wrongfully placed in your mind  as a child,

We're all in skin a lie, Mr. Pride,
That's why we die,

Just humble yourself and apologize Mr.Pride,
You know, there'd be no more guilty awkward shame; you'd be blameless, so don't hide,
Be a life and just apologize,
We're all wrong from time to time-this one crafty trait is what makes you and I human-but not all of us filled are with pride,
Mr. Pride,
That's why we apologize.

thanx

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
