    Question Mark.

Restrained from lingering, from hoping, from dreaming, from wishing until our minds begin to halt at a dead end. The feeling that grasps our mentality and steers us in various, baffling directions, but at the same time, makes us yearn for it, long for it, need it. It lures us in and leaves us cold. It carries us with warmth and forces us to dissipate with merely anything left behind. It can be unveiled in times of need, of desperation. It can hinder our nightmares, and captivate the dreams. It reached the culmination, the apex of our emotions, but never dove deep enough to get the trough of our worst.

Intelligently worded without giving away the true definition of the explanation. Leaves the mind wondering exactly its meaning. Or perhaps it has multiple. It reads to me like a soul tired of moving, yet tormented by the need for kinectic motion. I like how you elaborated this.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
