    Questions

Have you ever thought so much that your head hurt?
Have you tried to tell someone how you feel, but they aren’t listening?
Am I, thee only one who has to wait?
Will he ever realize how much I adore him?
    Does he even see me?
    Am I invisible?
Do I not stand a chance, should I just move on?
Is it possible for me to just stop my feelings?
Will there ever be answers to my questions, or will my questions be answered with questions?
    What can I do?
I want to fall in love, but does he?
Is he ready to fall, or is he ready for me to let go?
    Someone has to know.
To know would be divine, to be able to answer my questions, would change everything.
If he were for me he would have answers like these:

Sometimes I think so much that my head begins to ache, but then I think of you.
I’ve tried to tell you I feel the same, I just didn’t know how, I was listening to you, but I didn’t know what to say, I was afraid you didn’t feel the same.
I have been waiting for you my whole life, you’re thee only one for me.
I see you everyday walking down the hall, but I didn’t know you saw me.
You are not invisible, I was just blind, I couldn’t truly see before I saw you.
Don’t ever move on, we were meant for each other.
Please show me how you feel, don’t give up.
Your questions will always be answered by my heart.
Don’t do anything, just be you.
I love you, and I never want to let you go.

For every question he would have an answer.
Through every heartache he would hold my hand.
During the good times and bad, he would always understand.
He would love me just the way I am, nothing more, and nothing less.
After all the waiting he would reassure me I was worth the wait, even when I felt worthless.
We would share our lives with one another, and grow old together.

Will this love story ever be? Another question, an answer we’ll have to wait to see.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
