"My Tears"

"My Tears"

My tears are falling and I seem unable to control their flow, My tears are falling because I truly miss you so.

The thought of you brings them streaming from my eyes, From the time that I lie down at night, to the time in the morn that I rise.

My heart cries out from the pain that it feels, and until you return it will never heal.

I constantly have thoughts of you running through my mind, But when I open my eyes you I cannot seem to find.

My tears are falling and I seem unable to control their flow, My tears are falling because I truly miss you so.

The flow of the poem was nice, I noticed some grammar errors, though. "time in the that I rise" should probably be "when I rise," also, "But when I open my eyes you I cannot find" is incorrect. Play around with it a bit, and it'll come to you. Other than that, it was very nicely written, I enjoyed reading it greatly. Good job! :D

thanks for your input, it is greatly appreciated.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
