    "rodeo cowboy"

he lowered his hat as they announced the prayer it had been a long road he"d lost most his hair but again he would straddle what he loved so dear he was a rodeo cowboy who showed no fear on top of the bull his knee"s started shaking his mind was filled with anticipation as he wrapped his hand and slid up to call it was set in his mind he had a good draw spinning back to the left and then to the right this cowboy determined to make it his life at the sound of the buzzer the crowd gave a cheer he knew in his heart he"d be back next year

Very descriptively picturesque and well written.A great tribute to the bull rider and a most memorable poem.

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
