    Poem Commentary

Don't ask. I was feeling lonely. And with no one to confide in, I turned to poetry to pour out my feelings. At the time, it was raining hard and I love rain.

    RainStorm

The poisonous beauty that fractured within
Making everything I do seem like a sin
Dampening my face of a tempestuous rain
The silent tears so as to scream my name

Fading away, a shattered spirit in the storm
Wondering if I can handle any more
The murky skies thunder with cloudburst
And somewhere, someplace inside, my heart hurts

The storm that weeps within my dormant soul
Torrential rain crashing its hollow hole
Sadistic winds hum their inharmonious tune
As I stand in the midst of the darkest monsoon

Every part of me is so heartbroken
Truth unheard from words not spoken
    Drowning me in soulful rain
    Mounting my poignant pain

An eternal storm awakens in my essence
Driving me away in its ocean currents
Scarred for life, the damage done
The morning dawn will never come
