    Ripples

A single tear falls from heights unattainable.
From grief so deep it penetrates the body, taking refuge inside the soul.
Cascading across the world, creating soft waves upon abounding surfaces.
Piercing the human heart that forever remains cold.
Piercing the friends, who are enemies...who are friends.
Piercing the village who cries out from hunger and waits for the end...for death.
Piercing the town, full of corruption where one man stands...alone.
Piercing the city, full of living beings. Who are they? Not human. For even animals have seeds of compassion.
Piercing the country, bound by it's laws, and and rules, and regulations, and decrees.
Piercing the nation, whose empires crumble and fall, creating a nation of invidious people.
Piercing the world, for who despite her beatings, enigmatically continues to be complaisant.
    The world sighs-
    The nations sighs-
    The people sighs-
    I open my eyes...another day
    I sigh...
