    Rocky Road

    Rocky Road

The flavor of some type of Ice-cream
That would evoke the ever so distant memories
And frivolous dreams of most kids
    Rocky Road
    The title of most themes
Where the desired result came with work
    Trials and tribulations
    Lies and faults
    Indiscretions and forgiveness
    Rocky Road
When thinking of past history classes
I think of the Rocky Road that Lincoln had
When he proposed freedom with a thought of Emancipation
And later attached that to a proclamation
What trails must have been met there
    Rocky Road
    My freedom comes within you
And within you I feel emancipated
With the price of losing myself
    This is a
    Rocky Road
Although it has a been a
    Rocky Road
I wouldn’t have taken another street
Because down this road I found love
    And down this road
I found someone who would stay in my coroner
This road has been an adventure, But on this road it’s been worth it
    You’re my version
    My flavor
    My thought
    My dream
    My
    Rocky Road

Preach Bishop! I understand whole hardily. Lots of people want to change the road that they have traveled, but each of us have a unique road because no one else has traveled it the same way as we did. I love Rocky Roads, especially the ice cream-lol!

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
