    Run away slave :Turned Away

    Turned Away
    Discouraged, disappointed, disheveled, dizzy.
    Discouraged, disappointed, disheveled, dizzy.
Turned away like a bunch of hay.
    Rejected but always accepted.
“Too many, too many” is all he pleaded
    Extremely miserable because of
    being turned away.

Eleven slaves hoping to be saved.
    Disappointed without an appointment.
    Desperate at the rate of
    being asked to wait.
The Door slammed in their face at the
    risk of being safe.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
