Saved
I was sitting here in my abandoned heart.
It was so dark and lonely.
When I heard someone trying to get in.
I was scared and hid.
Then I heard a voice say "hello"
The sound was so sweet and calm,
it brought me quite a smile.
I got up slowly, not making a sound.
You turned on the lights
and I jumped off the ground.
Never feeling to this point,
I had no idea what to do.
You finally found me sitting around
and told me everything would be ok.
From that day you have,
brightened my heart with lights it's never seen,
given me comfort and saved me from the pain,
and never let me be lonely ever again.
