    Scars
    The scars of my past
    They will not go away
    But I'll not let them show
    I'll hide them every day
    If you know they're there
    Please just let them be
    Don't reopen wounds
    That no one can see
    The wounds that ran deep
    Are now stitched up tight
    Please help me keep the scars of my past
    Hidden out of sight
