Experience
I prayed for you to be there
I thought that you'd be safe
I didn't think I'd be the one
to put you closer to your grave
This wasn't suppose to happen
the least to say to you
No one should have to experience
all the pain that you went through
I wish I could take it all away
but there's nothing I can do
Just hold on to your faith and pray
and I'll keep praying for you
God is watching over you
even if you don't believe
He'll never let you down
your side He'll never leave
I thank our Lord every night
that He takes such good care of us
Every experience is a lesson learned
no matter what the consequence was
