Seasons of life
What does life bring,
Birds chirp and sing
Busy bees buzz with happiness
For it is the beginning of spring
Well into summer the spring flowers bloom
Giving their surroundings life and joy
Like a new born child in its mother arms
Content and secure
The warmth of the sun is the warmth of a mother
So tender and warm in the summer
The months past and autumn is here
Leave begin to fall
The colors swirl with warning
The chirping of the summer bird stop and the flowers cease to bloom
Their colors turn to gray then black as the night’s sky
It is winter
Cold and uninviting
Nothing but white
No color anywhere
No hope
Nothing
Birds chirp and sing
Busy bees buzz with happiness
For it is the beginning of spring
Well into summer the spring flowers bloom
Giving their surroundings life and joy
Like a new born child in its mother arms
Content and secure
The warmth of the sun is the warmth of a mother
So tender and warm in the summer
The months past and autumn is here
Leave begin to fall
The colors swirl with warning
The chirping of the summer bird stop and the flowers cease to bloom
Their colors turn to gray then black as the night’s sky
It is winter
Cold and uninviting
Nothing but white
No color anywhere
No hope
Nothing
