    Secrets

The deep ruins of the past
    The depth of the Ocean
    Are what secrets can become
If we keep them for too long
    A lonely cry at night
    A scream from the shadows
Only something that you're mind is imagining
    When the wind blows east
Petals from a delicate flower will wither
    And fall upon the ground
The sun will burn through clouds
Bringing light to those in need
    But sometimes it isn't enough
Cause we are more deep then people think
    A face is deceieving
Take it personal for one day it could be you
    Left torn into pieces
By the one who you so solemnly trust

wow, theres a lot of pain in this poem. I can feel it, but from the writers perspective there is bluntness, almost like the writer seems to be numb from the pain. Good poem, full of truth, and well written

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
