She

you gaze upon her
read about her
and believe you know her
know all of her
blinded by your mind
what you see is a mist
an apparition
you judge her
acid spurts through her veins
the heart is of obsidian
perjurers tongue
Medusian
your illation is fey
do you really want to see her?
or has your avidity been garroted
like hallucinations in your mind?

she stands staring into the chasm
focused on the space between
here and now
then and when
Inconceivably she is shy
fear fuels her way
loneliness parts her
told of the love
of the affection
her heart is held in
seeing nihility
is this the true nature of things?
leaving the seizures
a single tear, a flood
seeking through the chimerical sky
the pulchritude once so palpable
onward to the future
running to the effulgence

see her for who she is
she is not arete
containing many faults and foibles as any other
but she is heart
she is loyalty
she is dreams
forgive her the imperfections
she'll stand by you
see what really exists to be seen

In all that we see through out our lives, it defines us, gives us strength, love, hate, beauty, individuality and of all things, it allows us to be us. Every one is different. You can only see this if you look deep into a person. These things can not be seen from the outside. Again, very well written.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
