SOMEDAY

As I walk through this jungle to observe all things around me, I struggle to find myself, yet I cling onto things that have never defined me as me. I walk on through all the torments that may come my way, I know that the other side shall hold such beauty if I just keep fighting on through the darkness of the night. I hold steady as some days it seems that I trudge through this hopeless maze that I have trapped myself within, yet I know when I reach the end of this puzzle everything will seem as though it’s been alright all along. The journey may seem endless at times an my faith falls shy, yet the deeper I search, the more I find, the brighter the day seems to get as the darkness slowly fades away. I see how things may always be against me, yet I seem to always build the obstacles that are set before me as though to prevent myself from being able to see those days that I have longed for. I lay my head to rest at night as I finally see that today may not the my day yet one day shall come to be my

I admire your poem that conveys bravery to face and fight the difficulty of life. Good job!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
