Poem Commentary

I was in high school when i wrote this. And im still stuck in my own absract world...

Somewhere in Limbo

Comes from down deep within.
The soul that feels never has been.
The thoughts that crash, that blows the mind.
Finds a way to trick the mind.
From here on in the thoughts have been,
the pure and simple kind.
Why to die, why to try that's how I forever lived.
The knife you've thrown sticks into the book,
from which the knowledge I have took.
Foul images skim and dine.
So tell the tale or seem as blind.

Deep within the soul begins to feel the cold that's never been. The thoughts have crashed unsound mind blown...the wretched witch has overthrown.... To trick a mind from here on in molest the thought strings one by one Death to you who thinks to live is knifing wisdom in a book... Knowledge seeked and knowledge took like earthquakes tendrils they have shook... Foul is the taste thats left on toungue... to taste of truth has left none young.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
