    Sorrow

    When a loved one dies,
All you can do is cry.

Although their death you could not control,
To their memory you will always hold.

When they go you feel like you will never be the same,
In time this hurt you will learn to tame.

The hurt will never go away,
But it will grow easier with every passing day.

All though their face you will never see again,
Their spirit and memory will always live within.

How true this is, and how beautifully put in only a few words.

A poem written so well, and so true, I was told we was to be happy and assured of our loved ones crossings, :)

tyvm I'm glad you enjoyed it! I too believe that they affirm their safe passage on a daily basis!

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
