    Sorry

Sorry for not being your slave
Sorry for not being your toy
    Sorry for not being there
    Only for you to enjoy
    I love you so much
Yet you say such hurtful things to me
That brings tears in my eyes
Dripping like rain and pain in my heart
That feels like its getting ripped apart
What did I do so wrong to you
Didn't I give you my love from the start
Or maybe it's that you don't care anymore
If its so then let me go, let me be
Let me find out what else there is in the sea
    I will never forget you
And I hope you never forget me
    Just keep the good memories
And throw the bad ones away
Remembering that you will always stay
    In my heart

No need to be sorry there - we can do all we can when in love - but one thing we cannot do and that is make someone love us - either they do or they don't - if they do you'll know because they will still be there with you (as long as you are treating them right - going to the same length if not more to prove your love for them is true) if not then they are not supposed to be there... sound like the efforts by the writer should have been more than enough.... When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
