    Stained Glass

My joy has shattered, my pain is deep
The love I have has fallen asleep
During the night my feelings creep
Into the nightmares that I seek
My sins are many, my friends are few
I now have to pay for what is due
The sky looks grey, the sky's not blue
Time has to fade then life comes new
My right goes left, my left goes right
The days are dark, and the dark is light
If it's out of mind, it's out of sight
I don't know whether to leave or fight
This is my story, this is my song
Around millions of people I still feel alone
No matter how close I am, my mind is still gone
What did I do where did I go wrong
Stained glass window, so hard to see
I know a way out: Jesus is the key

    another great write,good job

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
