Stilled Perfection

Stilled Perfection

A flower wasn’t meant to last forever.

Tainted in all her beauty she still wasn’t meant to last

 Much longer than a dream.

Sweet in its aroma, soft to touch

Drenched in its own beauty

Each petal a signature piece of its self

Its essence breeds joy and pain

Accolades and regrets.

A blossom of Achievements

To all that may adorn its glory.

Truly a mark of perfection

 In her passionate moments

Of bloom

Mans eye

Only graced with but a few days

For if ever she be cut

Her time on earth indefinitely spliced still.

In flight her depth loosens

As her children impregnate the earth

The seeds she bares stretch to make it to

Mothers’ plush soil

For her life they’ll carry out.

To the man in a field of Lily’s

Who pines for the affection of another

Know that he will not think twice

About the bed of bountiful beauty

Before he preys on the unexpected splendor of

Her color

With shears in hand

He speaks to the open field…..

Oh yee, you beautiful flower

Come adorn your beauty for my love

And whisper all the stories of Love

So that maybe someday day she’ll bare the seed

Of me in her heart

Speckled love with your

Angel soft wings

With roots that hold the glory of your head

Please do me the honor of allowing me to cut but just a few

For in the death of your beauty

She will cry sweet nectar

And shower me with her immeasurable kiss.

this is is just beautiful straigh up,not much to add, love it well written nicely pen, oooh just let the inspiration flow,,

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
