    Poem Commentary

    In my family I seem to never be able to do anything right.as the years pass my family has a preconceived notion of what I can do in life. I feel it is too late to change their minds bu to hopefully have the day I earn my families respect.

    Stop black sheep stop
    O to be the black sheep
    Not being able to make a peep.
    Wanting to courageously make the leap
    But realizing i am in too deep.

    People bash me in their sleep
    its actually A good name It’s what i want to keep.
    But of all I do is weep 
    STOP!

    i cannot take defeat!
    i cannot just take a seat
    nor will i be just bones and meat.

    Today the heart monitor will beep!
    today the tires will spin on the jeep!
    Will not take shortcuts nor will I cheat!
    i never will stop until respect Is what i reap !

    We all make mistakes but the greatest thing to do is not dwell on them but learn our lesson and become wiser. People judge you without knowing your conviction to really do something great in life all the time. At time relatives seem to be the ones pointing finger and claiming we can't do much. Don't let anyone put you down. We can all move on let the past behind your bright future waiting. I've been through it and the best part is showing them how wrong they were...

    I can certainly appreciate the feelings behind this passionate write. Your frustration is indeed well conveyed. It is not about the mistakes we make, it is simply about learning to keep on moving forward and take words with a grain of salt. Nice writing.
