    Suicide

There is more to me than meets the eye
    Outside I smile and laugh
    Inside I want to die
No one knows how often I think about it
    Contempleting suicide
So that I won't have to endure the pain I feel inside
How I need for someone, anyone to love me
So that I can feel justified
Maybe its better for me to pass on
    Cause while I'm here
    I sit unnoticed
In the mist of everyone's prejudice
Crying, reaching out for anyone to take my hand
To hold on to me, help me stand
I'm tired of trying to the depiction of what society wants me to be
Why won't they let me be me
    When I'm all alone
I hear them talking, telling me to do it
Telling me to end my misery
So that I can make this pain go away
But when my hits the floor
My pain will end that day

I read your poem again, & was again touched by the depth of pain that provokes such strong desires to "check out". But know this, "Life's constant is Change. Things can not help but change; and there is always at least a 50/50 chance of it being one for the better. Jeaglefeather

Everything will be ok. Everyone has their darkest hour.

I write a lot about suicide. It is a hard topic to cover; well done. Check mine: Native Land.
