    Tears of A Broken Heart

Sitting all alone on your very special night/
Thinking and praying that everything is all right/
Bad feelings all around, crawling up and down your spine/
Because you know for a fact that nothing is fine/
Then that one phone call comes, the one you don't want to get/
Feels like someone gave your weak heart a hard hit/
It's the one that you love, saying the time has come near/
The nest thing he says is the hardest to hear/
He utters the words "it's over," and you don't know what to do/
Just the other day he mentioned how much he loved you/
Nothing but confusion clouds you in the head/
As you can do nothing but lay and cry in bed/
And as the slow love songs you put on begin to start/
You can do nothing...but cry tears of a broken heart//

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
