that girl

thinking back when I was a little girl
I start to wonder what took joy and happiness from my little world
times where hard and life was short
but it all was unhappy from the end and from the start
I staarted to go around feeling bad for those that where happier than me
because they couldn't even notice that pain that was in me
I cried out loud for someone to help this little girl
that was longing for somenone to care and take her from this messed up world
It took a toll on her life for a long time that it felt the same happy and sad
forgive her for she did not know the difference between the two
so she speak out to get help from that big old you

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
