The battle

The battle

The battles that could not leave
me scared. Life experience taught
me too believe in my self courageously;
yet best at heart. The storms; left me
shivering in the wind. Dark at night.
The light of hope kept, shining with might. As my
best friend. The sword of faith winn's again and again.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
