clouds on what would be a perfect day

sun was shining, birds were singing on a day just like today

all the love around made the clouds go away

there was peace with in our world, not a bad word could be said

all our bad thoughts were replaced with happy ones instead

then the clouds rolled in telling of you leaving so soon

telling us your soul went to fly with the sun and the moon

telling how you no longer had to suffer stress and pain

bringing with it the clouds and the rain

it’s not so bad one must say

everything is clean, fresh and not so grey

filling in the space in the lives that you have touched will be hard to do

the space was custom made for someone as special as you

so yes there were clouds on a perfect day like today

but the clouds just remind us the day you had to go away
