Poem Commentary

My first poem. Hope that somone enjoyed it :)

The End

As the colors of the world slowly fade to gray, all life on earth drains away.

As human feelings start to lack, thoughts and memories are chard to black.

Time is now frozen and your heart is no longer beating.

You feel that your soul is slowly leaving.

Earth has fallen, gravity has gone numb.

Humankind, life, everything is gone.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
