Poem Commentary

I wrote it after my first girlfriend left me and I saw some one in the halls that was raished in beauty

The Face of an Angel

Walking down a darkened hall way.
A shining face looks at me.
My heart not a word it said.
Looking at her delicate head.
Her hair shimering like gold from the Heavens above.
Sparkle in my eyes trapped in love.
Lips so moist that are drizzled with Holy water.
Cheeks as of rubies with speckled crystals upon the surface of the glittering gems.
Her eyes of emeralds reflecting off of the moonlit night.
The fragile hands and feet that have gently sat upon the cold cruel world.
The way she smiles makes me cry and eye her beauty.
Love,oh love have I so lustfully wanted to feel just one more time.
How I wish you were mine.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
