The Final Blaze

When the sun sets with the final red blaze,
I tried to cross the gates of reality,
into a world where no destinations meet
the true dreams of tomorrow,
and you just can't quite make it.
When the gates open,
the final red blaze has already disappered,
and you're already back in reality.

You will not always be so young. but what a geat start to the world of creative writing! There is only one metaphor:gates. But you used this one imaginatively and effectively. I'm impressed. Keep at it. You will only get better, and better.
