    THE FLOWER

IT BURST FORTH, SPRINGING UP, STRIVING TO CATCH A GLIMPSE OF THE SUN
PUSHING AGAINST THE NATURAL FORCES AGAINST IT
PREVAILINGLY NOW, STANDING ERECT, IN A BEAUTIFUL NEW WORLD FULL OF WARMTH, SURROUNDED BY A GLORIOUS GLOW
A LIFE RENEWED, BROUGHT FORTH BY LIFE FROM DEATH
FOR TO DEFEAT DEATH, A LIFE MUST REFUSE TO DIE
ONCE THAT LIFE HAS COME FROM DARKNESS, AND FOUND THE LIGHT OF LIFE, IT HAS JOY IN THAT LIGHT
FOR REJUVENATION IT HAS ENTERED INTO THE LIGHT
BECAUSE OF IT'S STRUGGLE IN DARKNESS FOR LIFE, THE LIGHT NOW GIVES IT PEACE

I've read all of your poems. this seems to be the style you are most comfortable with. when I finished I had to read it again. Very well written.

Poetry comes nearer to vital truth than history.

Plato (BC 427-BC 347) Greek philosopher.
