the four seasons i simply adore

the four seasons i simply adore

seasons come and seasons go
but oh how i love them so

just the anticipation of new precipitation
the changing colors of the leaves to having
to wear long sleeves

snowflakes  the beauty that they hold
is worth staying out in the cold

a garden of pretty flowers abloom now
fill a vase in my room

eating ice cream on a hot humid day is
such a refreshing treat

kids spraying each other with a squirting
hose in the middle of the street

Good simple enjoyment. Appreciating the simpler things in life. This is a poem that simply leaves me taking in a deep breath.......and taking in the moment.
