    The Frustration of Time

    The frustration of Time...

What is time? But a moment.
    A Breath~ A blink.
A second where anything can happen.

What is it for? And why does it end?
    We look forward with darkness,
    and behind with open eyes.

The earth can shatter in a moment.
The sun could fall from the sky.
Would we be known for our time?

    Time was made for us.
To be wise and handle it with care and knowledge.
    Will we use it?

    How does it run away?
    Where does it go?
It will wait for no one!

    Time can frustrate.
It can bring the heavy heart of sorrow.
Yet it can also heal all things.

We wear it on our arms,
and hang it on our walls.
Only to watch it tick away.

To see our life ever change.
    From birth to death.
The tender frailty of an infant,
to the morbid frailty of age.

To know the amount of breaths one will take,
    is known to no man.

    Live in the moment.
    But never forget your destiny!

    Love while you can.
It is the most important of all man's virtues.

    Will you open your heart?
That I may be wise with my time.
And know that God is the one who ordained it all.
    Teila

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
