The High Hurdler

She aproaches the starting line , the race starts.
With those great legs of lightning speed
she jumps out the starting blocks at a fast pace.

She comes to the first hurdle , she runs
and jumps over it, that hurdle is fear.

With lightning speed she proceeds to
come to the next hurdle. She runs
jumps and clears the second one,
that one is depression.

She is running fast ,realy fast
determine to jump the next hurdle.
She runs jumps clears the third one.
That one is anxiety.

She breaths in the air into her lungs,
catches her stride on time ready for the next hurdle.

She is running fast ,determine to
jump the hurdle. With her heart pounding
fast she runs jumps clears the fourth one.
That one is guilt.

She never slows down, she is running
hard determine to clear the fifth one,
she runs jumps and clears the hurdle.
That one is shame.

With lightning speed, she runs like
she never ran before coming to the last
hurdle, she runs jumps clears the last
hurdle, she runs jumps clears the last
one, that one is forgivnes.

She crosses the finish line still running
hard and fast. With her arms open
she runs to love at the finish line.
Love is waiting for her with arms
open and they embrace.

He hugs her tight holding her in his
arms whispers in her ear. I been waiting
a long time for you. Everything will be fine.
