    The Little Things

I would love to watch the sunset with you,
Hold your hand while watching the view.
Going to the beach to lie on the sand,
Gazing into your eyes when you touch my hand.

Your eyes are so passionate and full of love,
An angel sent to me from heaven above.
Your lips are so precious and tenderly sweet,
They are soft to the touch but filled with heat.

I feel your arm around me in bed,
The pillow is so soft where I lay my head.
Your presence is nice to feel by my side,
As you hold me through the night.

I know you love me when you call me by name,
You say you do and are not ashamed.
To pick me to love is a dream come true,
For I will always love and cherish you.

I like this poem, you seem to be a good poet..keep it up!!

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
