    The Masculine Rose

Suddenly you came into my world,
But I only saw you briefly.
I tried to get a better view,
    And do it more discreetly.

A man should be treated special,
Just like a woman should be.
I wanted you to know that,
So the rose was perfect, you see?

So I put a rose on your door,
While you were waxing your car.
The rose is just a pittance,
Of what you deserve, by far.

    A beautiful specimen of manhood,
And that would change my life.
I left a rose upon your door,
Because I've never seen a wife
    .
