    The Morning of Love

A new day is dawning, the sun is so warm.
Still feeling sleepy, I can't help it but yawn.
Rubbing my eyes, I climb out of bed.
I walk to the window scratching my head.
I take a deep breath, the air is so fresh.
I hear the birds chirping inside the nest.
The fragrance of roses such, a morning delight.
Squirrels and chipmunks running about, I look at the sky.
It is a clear blue, as my heart starts to wander with my thoughts of you.
Inside I start to feel fuzzy, my heart wears a smile.
I can't wait till I see you, across what seems to be miles...
    I love you...

Very sweet and honest. Love can be wonderful and create a different perspective of love for people who only dream of it.

    lovely poem!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
