The Old Me
I'm bustin love poems off the top of my head, if it wasn't for this rappin I would probaly be dead, cause way before I figured out that I can write a nice poem in less then 10minutes, I was tryin to learn how I could make cake like Bennit, yeah I wanted all the nice things in my life like the cash and the clothes, but I didn't realize how much had to be done to afford all those, so I stuck to robbin and shottin people for the hell of it, and now i think about it and it seems devilish, I picked up a 501 machine from a store at the age of 13, when I figured out how to work it I was hooked like a feind, I was up all day and night makin the hottest beats, wishin One day they would be played in the streets, it was me and my friend thinkin we were the best, I made a demo and sold it to put my beats to the test, I sold about 7 or 8 copies for five bucks a peice, and people were impressed by the style that I released, but many of the listeners didn't know the truth the life that I lived and all the crimes that I commit, the only thing they thought they knew is that I was livin legit, but I wasn't, I was a young teen sellin white, carryin pistols not afraid of gunnin, I had grown men runnin cause I told em I'll take their life, me bein me I wouldn't think twice, I wish that I haven't did half if the things that I did in my life, I hope that I can be forgiven cause I'm tryin to live right. The Old Me

- Awesome write, my brother. Well done inspiration from the street. I love how this flowed and how honest it is. I am sure you have found that poetry allows for many things like fantasy, love and honesty. I really liked this. Thank you.
