THE ONE
The first time I met you in the parking lot of the bowling alley.
My heart started beating fast it came out the valley.
You looked so handsome and so fine.
I knew in my heart and soul that love was not blind.
I walked closer and closer to you not knowing what to expect.
But I knew deep down that you was the one I would elect.
As we walked in the place to start our fun.
We were checking each other out and saying "Oh Yes" you're the one.
As we enter in and started laughing and feeling each other out.
I was so excited and joyful I wanted to shout.
We were talking to each other like we known each other from the past.
I knew he was the one and it was going to last.
As time whined down and we began to part.
I watched him walk away like a work of art.
He grabbed me and gave me a big hug.
I just stared in his eyes like I was on a drug.
We parted and went our separate ways.
I walked away happy, excited and in a daze.
Eight month later, I knew it was done.
On August the 2nd 2008, we began one.
My heart started beating fast it came out the valley.
You looked so handsome and so fine.
I knew in my heart and soul that love was not blind.
I walked closer and closer to you not knowing what to expect.
But I knew deep down that you was the one I would elect.
As we walked in the place to start our fun.
