    The Pillar of Life

    I am the one
    that time forgot.
    When all life is done
    And last battles fought,
    I think about the weariness
    They always brought.

    I am the one
    That time left untouched.
    The winds, with time run
    Wiping those who are clutched,
    And I am still living
    One life too much.

    I am the only
    That time left behind.
    Standing here lonely
    With no hope to find,
    Time cannot return
    Back to unwind.

    I am the last
    That ever shall be.
    The present and past,
    They all have to see...
    Only the future
    Is well beyond me.
