The "Lady" in the black corvette

I remember that day  as if it were yesterday.....

standing on the corner of 56 and vermont........

You came to a stop at the light , you were so fine......
 I just had to say hi.......then i heard my mouth say....,

"Will you tyake me home with you....you looked at me a moment....
then smiled that gourous smile......Hop on in,,,, I heard your lips say....
I did,,,, we were on our way...........

We stoped at santa monica beach,,,,,,We went for a stroll along the shore.....and as we watched the Beautiful sun set.....we  seem to meld together....  and for a wonderful moment in time, we became one...

Never since and never before have i experieced such bliss.....
You said good night but before you did....you left me with your number,,,,,
and a Kiss............I promised you I would call,,,,,,,,,but i never did,,,,,,

 why did i not call???? To my didmay......i found,,,, that I had left your number on the seat  in your  car,,,,,,,, along with that last Kiss!!
