THE READER

The Reader
There was a reader, who loved to read.
Who did it so, with such great speed.
As the reader would read along,
The words would rhyme like poetry song.
With captured mind and captive heart,
the words enslaved from the very start.
From chapter to chapter, page to page,
like the fountain of youth they would not age.
As you read your life within, you cannot stop once you begin.
From cover to cover, it's all there.
You'll turn the page with loving care.
