    The sad Memory

    Those lime-green eyes
The white softness curled around my feet
    Will never be again
    Your sugar coated meow
As you scratch at the bedroom door
    Will never be again
    My feet are now cold
    And the night is quiet
    Now I know
What the pains of heartache truly feel like
    And know that the pains
    Will always linger here
