    The Secret

I know someone who has a secret
    I swore to never tell
    She said she's been sick
    For a year or so
    This I did'nt know
Nothing contagous,  so have no fears
Not a day goes by when she not in tears
She cries, she hurts most everyday,
But when with friends smiles anyway
    She's very strong willed,
    As long as I've known
    Tough as nails,
    Right down to the bone
    She says all the time
    She wants to go home
But the toughest days are still to come
    She has'nt told anyone
    Noone but me
Not even her family,  or daughter you see
    She don't want pitty
    Or even sympathy
she just wants her days to be
    Happy as can be
So if you know this person
    Or have a care
Please keep her in your hearts
    And also in your prayers
    Caring thoughts and prayers
    So far are still free
And whether or not you know it
Your prayers will be for me

This is a beautiful piece. My prayers are yours- 10 from me

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
