The Show

Motherfuckers in the audience
idiodicly staring
morbidly oblivious
as the horrors continue
tortured and bleeding
You scream for help

laughter pours out of Their mouths
special effects and CGI
are present in Their eyes
a chainsaw roars
pain overwhelms You
and still They look on
the curtain comes down
the show ends

They file out
You hear Their laughter continue
He prepares You for the next show
a new crowd traspe in
They take Their seats
anxiously waiting
for Their entertainment to begin

You hear Your cue
the curtain rises
They smile with those empty faces
the show begins again

Oh great what did I misspell? Sorry I was typing kinda fast .

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
