    the soul inside me

this is a side of me that only you can see
    this samurai side of me
in a world were the sun is black and black rose pedals blow in the wind
like cherry blossoms in the spring
the night sky were the moon is red
and the rain gives u this certain feeling of calm as it drops
the sound givin off by the instrument you play is like a hyme to the soul
a samurai who drinks sake only when the prescence of a certain
some one because its the only time it tastes the best
a shword that swings to protect most of the time swings wildly
and tends to need a sheath to keep it stable
like a man possesed by a demon who can only be calm by the one
    he transforms to protect
a man that shows no fear and knows no bounds
    an angel of silence
    for he may not speak
his black wings still spread and darkens the sky that only the red moon shows
this is the demonic samurai that lays dorment in this shell i call a body
the blood lust and the rage and suffering only stop once i hear that voice
that certain song that leaves me laying next to a tree staring at the dark sky.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
