    The Sullen Spirit

    The disdain of this life
    Bring me to say
Wishing I actually have the guts to do
Bringing a knife and just cut my pain away
Thinking if this can show how crazy I am
    The pain I bear within
    The appearance of a monster
    Many people believe
I just wanted to be accepted
    Wanting to be loved
But, always ending up with jerks
Just trying to find the light from this dispair
Trying to find a good reason why
I shouldn't end my own life
But, the feelings of denial are stronger
Startled by total shock that I did it
The tears escape in a swift motion
Crying out loud asking why nobody wasn't there for me.

I like that last line. I've come to the conclusion that if it ever came to this, I would not harm myself. I would just pay back pain for pain. Emotional piece

sometimes we have to put positive people in our lives and do away with the negativity

Poetry comes nearer to vital truth than history.
